The climate in Sitges is one of the best in the Mediterranean, it has its own Micro climate which everyone talks about. Spring (March to May)
This is a perfect time for everyone no matter their age to enjoy the weather here. The weather in March can be changeable with a few rainy days but on the flip side you still get some really nice days to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Once April is in full swing the weather improves no end with fewer cloudy days and the temperature starts climbing, perfect for day time walks and getting ready for the sun screen. If you are fortunate enough to have a garden or a roof terrace with your property or apartment you will be starting to use them. As we enter May the sunny days are becoming more regular and the chance of cloud or rain is becoming less frequent. June is a favourite month for the tourists and the locals alike as it is not too hot but you can certainly enjoy the beaches and the sea temperature that is starting to pick up. This time of year property rental prices start to rise as does the demand.
The average temperatures are between 19°C and 25°C in the spring.
Summer (June to August)
Summertime in Sitges is a great time to be here whether you are living here permanently or just visiting. The temperatures and sunny cloud free days are almost guaranteed and the temperature range is normally 24-30°C but can rise as high as 35°C. Unlike Barcelona the humidity here is a lot less and we have cooling sea breezes to beat the heat. The beaches here are always busy but Sitges having over 7 Km of beaches so you will always find room to relax and soak up the summer sun. The sea temperature is always warm during this period and is a perfect way to cool off and have some fun. There are very few rainy or cloudy days in the summer period so this brings many tourists and visitors to Sitges.

Autumn (September to November)
September is one of the best months of the year to enjoy in Sitges and still many tourists and holiday makers are renting apartments and villas here. The humidity is all but gone, the temperatures are not so sizzling and the evenings are starting to become cooler. The beaches are becoming less busy but there is still a vibrant atmosphere. October is a great month with temperatures still in the 20´s. November has one or two colder days with the odd rainy day but these are still few and far between. The weather is still a lot better than that of the UK.
Holiday rental periods are still quite busy but the prices are starting to drop and availability is becoming more open.

Winter (December to February)
Winter in Sitges is particularly mild compared to that of the UK. The temperature rarely drops below 10°C and sometimes gets up towards 20°C. You will find people still walking around with jeans and T shirts on during the winter on mild days, even in January. January and February do have some wet days and it can get a little blustery but not a great deal. Evenings tend to get a little chilly so an extra layer is always advisable even if it’s warm during the day.
